Birch pulled the same thing at our small business, however they managed to terminate our acct with att which WE did not want. Att allowed Birch to terminate us, which is going to cost us over a $100 before we even get to the part where att helps us. You would think that Att would only terminate once they spoke with us NOT a 3rd party. How can this be legal & what do we do about it? Where do we go from here? I am reporting Birch to several... I had Tempo (Birch service) and shortly after I paid my monthly bill, my service was suspended. I don't have a cell phone, so the phone they suspended was my only phone. My husband called them from work and they told him that another company "wanted" our service and that they disconnected us (without ANY warning!) to let them have it. Sales rep called and made it sound like ATT was switching us to Birch and they were calling to let us know. Hung up on him he called right back and acted like we were disconnected. Gave him me a song and dance and no real answers. I asked for him to send me information ..more song and dance. 4:30 pm thursday our phones and internet go out. after 30 minutes on hold birch support says they will call back in 4 hours. they don't call back. we call and they will have someone at our facility at 8 am 8am friday morning birch is a no show. we call and they promise to call back in 4 hours. they don't call back. we call them they say we will escalate it and level 2 will call you back. they don't call back. we call competitor and they can be... I'm writing this in hopes to save people the aggravation I've endured. The lack of service with email outages and outbound fax issues have been unacceptable. The down time has cost my company money. In addition to the lack of service, the hold time to get support is a minimum 40 minutes on hold, most often more like an hour. You can email data support and sometimes get a response a day or two later. Did I mention I'm running a company!? ... Read more

Cancelled contract as I was told. Numbers were ported timely, continued to get billed. I called & was told billing was posted in arrears, ignore, it should be cleared up. Called each month until I was finally told by a c/s rep that a piece of equip showed not returned. I was given instructions on how to return, did & was told a credit would be given. Totally agree. I have a client who was with C Beyond when Birch bought them out. C Beyond was awesome but as soon as Birch came in there was no support, the circuits went down all the time and it has been nonstop problems ever since. All their support department does is blame everything but their circuits - I see you have ASUS computers so those cause circuit problems - I see that you have a computer download a file and using all the circuit... can explain the charger,and hang off the phone.what a rude customer service . we have a phone problem we call them for help, I ask them how the charge, they told me if out side the is no charge and if inside my business then I have to pay the fee, that cool with me. Birch slammed my mentally challenged elderly brother even had a recording of him saying, yes, yes to everything they said to him. Which made no sense. My brother also had a medical emergency alert system hooked up to the service he had, but when they slammed his service he lost it because Birch doesn't support this service. Birch switched nine of our business lines without our permission. Actually they fabricated a recording with one of our receptionists as proof that we requested the switch. Birch Customer service is not helpful, they claimed they cannot switch us back. No sense in talking to them.
